‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ returns to Knox County Oct. 25

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will come to life in Knox County on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Behind the Seams Events will present this legendary tale at Country Gatherings and Suites, 17720 Glen Road, from noon to 5 p.m.

Sleepy Hollow Haunt, a celebration of the legend, will include the dramatic retelling of Washington Irving’s chilling masterpiece, weaving a captivating narrative of Ichabod Crane’s encounter with the supernatural and the headless horseman.

Guests can stroll through the Twilight Village, complete with period décor, flickering lanterns and all kinds of events. There will be vendors selling their wares and a large display of carved, illuminated Jack o’lanterns to provide a whimsical spectacle. There will be apple and pumpkin treats available as well.
