Gay Street United Methodist Church, 18 N. Gay St., Mount Vernon, will be having an organ concert on April 19 at 3 p.m.

The United Methodist Young People’s Convocation Scholarship Concert, in partnership with Young People’s Ministries and Discipleship Ministries, supports emerging young leaders who will attend the 2026 Global Young People’s Convocation, a worldwide United Methodist event to be held in Dublin, Ireland.

Featured organists will be:
•Janet Guetle - Organist at Gay Street United Methodist Church. Earning her masters degree in vocal music from Northwestern University, Guetle taught music for 30 years with the Mansfield City School district and has studied with renowned organ and teacher Todd Wilson through Cleveland State University.
Sol Rizzato
•Stan Osborn - Organist/Choirmaster of the Church of the Holy Spirit at Kenyon College (also known as Harcourt Parish). Osborn is a retired technician with Muller Pipe Organ Company and one of his last projects was working on the organ at Gay Street UMC. He studied organ at the University of Michigan-Flint and Northwestern University.
•Sol Rizzato - Director of Worship and the Arts at Washington Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Elyria, Ohio. Rizzato is also the primary voicer and a lead service technician with Muller Pipe Organ Company. He holds a Master of Music degree in organ performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music studying under Todd Wilson.
