MV events, attractions shine in 'Best of Ohio' honors

Experience Mount Vernon announced that its signature First Fridays series has been named “Best Summer Festival” in Midwestern Traveler Magazine’s 2025 Best in Ohio awards. The honor highlights Mount Vernon’s growing reputation as a destination for vibrant, family-friendly community events in the heart of Central Ohio.

Downtown Mount Vernon claimed several top honors in this year’s Best in Ohio rankings, including:

– Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival: Best Art Fair/Festival

– Mount Vernon Grand Hotel: Best Historic Hotel

– South Main Plaza Dog Fountain: Best Street Art
