Lodging excise tax grant applications open for Mount Vernon nonprofits

Federally recognized 501(c)(3) organizations within the city can now apply for 2026–27 Lodging Excise Tax funds, with applications due by Monday, Nov. 17; details and forms are available through the Knox County Chamber of Commerce.

The Greater Downtown Management Council is accepting applications to apply for funds for the 2026-27 Lodging Excise Tax fund for the city of Mount Vernon. The deadline to submit the application and documents is Monday, Nov. 17, by end of business day.

Applications are welcome from federally recognized, tax-exempt, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations located within the city of Mount Vernon.
