Knox Foodies, LLC is excited to bring the 6th Annual Knox Foodies Food Truck Festival, a free family-friendly event to Mount Vernon. The event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Mount Vernon on the beautiful, historic public square.
The event is brought to you by co-host, Xtreme Air, LLC. Stoke Run Action Sports Park, located in Butler, and Mansfield Speedway will be bringing you live music from local artists, Michael Hauck (Noon to 1 p.m.), Third Degree Band (1:30-3 p.m.), and hometown country sensation, Alan Carl taking the stage at 4 p.m. Additional local support to put on the event is being provided by On the Mark Mowing, Living on the Edge, Legends Sports Bar, Trash Champions and Moore Family Practice.
This year, in partnership with Mount Vernon native, Zane Cook, and Z Cook Media, Knox Foodies is proud to bring a ride-in motorcycle show to the event. The bike show is totally free and will include Best in Class awards in the classes of Modern, Vintage (pre-1999), Custom, and Oddball as well as a Best of Show award. The motorcycle show is being sponsored by UMD Automated Systems, Lowbrow Customs, Compton Candy Coated, Richard Wolfe Trucking, and Good Ole Days.
In addition to the newly added motorcycle show, the day will be filled with food, music and family fun. An artisan market will be set up on the square highlighting local art and handmade items. There will also be face painting and a mini extreme sports area for the kids.
The highlight of the event will be 15 food trucks bringing a diverse offering of delicious foods to the event. This year’s participating food trucks include; Cupzilla Korean BBQ, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Big Back LLC, Schmidt’s Sausage Truck, Tacomania, Tabouli Café, What the Fizz, OX-B, The Funnel Cake Station, The Hibachi Hut, Kona Ice, Fork in the Road, Sweet Treat Trolley, Fine Smoke BBQ, and Charm Thai on the Wheels. With this line-up, there is sure to be something for everyone!
