KCH to host annual breast health awareness event Oct. 8

Free program features keynote by Amber Morrison, local resources and education on early detection

The Knox Community Hospital Center for Cancer Care encourages you to join us at our breast health awareness event on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the program starting at 5 p.m.

This inspiring event will raise awareness of breast health. The keynote speaker will be Amber Morrison, APRN-CNP — Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. Local organizations will be in attendance to provide educational materials. Door prizes and refreshments will be available.

Education on breast health is vital because it promotes early detection and significantly increases the chances of successful treatment for diseases like breast cancer. Being proactive empowers individuals to understand their bodies and notice when changes arise.

Bring your family and friends to learn more about breast health as we celebrate 14-plus years of breast health awareness in Knox County on this annual occasion.

RSVP by calling (740) 393-9621 or go to https://shorturl.at/e6Hnk to join us at our free event.
