KCCC Student Services earns 2025 RAMP Up Ohio Award

Counselors Clarissa Bush and Melissa Nowicki recognized statewide for excellence in school counseling and student support.

Knox County Career Center's Student Service Department received the 2025 Ohio School Counselor Association RAMP Up Ohio Award recently. School counselors Melissa Nowicki, left, and Clarissa Bush accepted the award.

The Knox County Career Center’s Student Services Department was awarded the 2025 Ohio School Counselor Association RAMP Up Ohio Award at the Ohio School Counselor Conference. KCCC was one of two schools to earn this award.

School counselors Clarissa Bush and Melissa Nowicki received the award.

Derek Fisher, HS Principal over Student Services, commented, “Congratulations to Mrs. Nowicki and Mrs. Bush (our school counselors) for being awarded the RAMP Up Ohio Award at the 2025 Ohio School Counselor Conference. RAMP Up Ohio demonstrates to administrators, school boards, staff, families, and the community at large the school counseling program’s commitment to supporting the mission of the school and district. Our school counselors continue to exemplify the highest standards of what it means to be a school counselor. Great job, ladies.”
