Master Gardener Spring plant sale set for May 16
Plants, expert advice available at event
Garden enthusiasts and beginners alike are invited to dig into spring at the upcoming Knox County Extension Master Gardener Annual Spring Plant Sale, a vibrant community event offering a wide selection of plants and expert advice.
Hosted by the Knox County Extension Master Gardeners, the sale will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m. upper level of the Ramser 4-H Activity Center located at 700 Perimeter Drive, Mount Vernon. Attendees can browse an extensive variety of plants, including annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, native species and houseplants-all carefully selected.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just getting started, there’s something here for everyone, It’s not just plants-it’s about connecting people with nature and each other.In addition to plants, the event will feature seed catalogs and books to look through, favorite garden tools of the Master Gardeners, and questions and answers about your garden.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit Knox County Habitat for Humanity homeowners in the purchasing of tools to maintain their gardens.
