On Feb. 14, the Fredericktown FFA Alumni held their annual farm toy show. The Fredericktown FFA Alumni Farm Toy Show is a significant event that was first established in February 2025. This event serves as a primary fundraiser for the FFA Alumni, an organization that works to support various educational and leadership opportunities for the local FFA chapter members throughout the year.
While the event is hosted and managed by the alumni, Fredericktown FFA chapter members were present throughout the day to provide support in all areas of the show. Immediately following the school day, members assisted with the logistical setup of the event, including the arrangement of tables and helping vendors move their equipment and various displays into the facility. Members also assisted with the preparation and staffing of the concessions area.
The Fredericktown FFA Alumni Farm Toy Show allows vendors from across the nation to bring their collectibles and set up their stations for the public to view and purchase. Throughout the show, chapter members worked various shifts to ensure the event ran smoothly, providing assistance with vendor needs, ticket-taking, and general event support. Additionally, members utilized their skills to build custom trophies, which were presented to the display exhibitors during the event.
Around 11 a.m., the Fredericktown FFA Alumni held a pedal tractor pull. Chapter members assisted the alumni with the operation of this competition, which included several different age brackets for participants. Once the Farm Toy Show concluded, FFA members remained on-site to help vendors tear down their displays and move out of the facility. The chapter remains appreciative of the alumni for hosting this event and for the continued opportunities they provide to the membership.
