Enjoy an evening of glamour and giving at Food For The Hungry’s Snowflake Gala
Annual fundraiser returns Dec. 13 with red-carpet reception, gourmet dinner, live auction and entertainment to support Knox County families in need
Food For The Hungry will host its 15th Annual Snowflake Gala in support of its 2025 Drive Goal of $340,000 on Saturday, Dec. 13.
Step onto the red carpet for an unforgettable evening of glamour and giving. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. A stylish reception and gourmet dinner thoughtfully prepared by Stuart Washington and the Knox County Career Center Culinary Arts lab will be served at 7 p.m. Then, raise a paddle during an exciting live auction — all proceeds will directly benefit families and individuals in Knox County. As the evening unfolds, guests will enjoy live entertainment by the sensational Knox Community Jazztet and MTV Arts. The Gala will be held at the Lowry Center, 221 Duff St, Gambier, OH 43022, which will be transformed into an elegant venue for the occasion.
This year’s gala honors Bruce Jacklin, foremost advocate for the arts in the Knox County community, with the William A. Stroud Jr. Award for Public Service. Co-Hosts for the event are his longtime theatrical colleagues Kelly Yerxa Lauth and Leah Stone Miller.
Tickets for the 2025 Snowflake Gala are priced at $100 per person with net proceeds benefiting Food For The Hungry. Tickets may be reserved by visiting www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org/snowflakegala, which offers online payment options. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, Dec. 5. All net proceeds and donations from the Fund-a-Cause auction benefit families and individuals in need in Knox County.
If you or your company would like to sponsor a dinner table ($1,000 for eight people) or support the Gala in some other way, please contact Snowflake Gala Committee Member Aubrey Matkovick at matkovick1@kenyon.edu or (740) 427-5857.
All sponsors will be recognized in the program for the Gala. If you are unable to attend the 2025 Snowflake Gala but still wish to support Food For The Hungry, please consider making a contribution either online at www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org or via the U.S. mail to Food For The Hungry c/o Wilging, Roush & Parsons CPAs, 1684 Venture Drive, Suite B. Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
