Danville earns lopsided KMAC win over Cardington before suffering first loss of the season at Fredericktown

Danville had 10 players score in rolling to a 76-32 victory
over Cardington on Dec. 17. The Blue Devils outscored the Pirates, 27-7, in the
first quarter and never looked back in picking up the Knox Morrow Athletic
Conference win.
Ashton Spaulding led the scoring assault with 17 points.
Wesley Payne added 13 points, while Owen Gronberg had 11. Parker Proper, Aidan
Mickley and Brycen Burke each had nine points.

The Blue Devils (4-1 overall, 3-1 KMAC) were handed their
first loss of the season on Dec. 20, falling 65-49 to host Fredericktown.
Danville was outscored 37-18 in the middle two quarters in
the loss.
Mickley led the Blue Devils with 19 points. Briggs Wallace
and Gronberg added six points each, while Carson Proper and Ashton Spaulding
had five apiece.
