Victorian House Museum to host festive holiday open house and book-signing event
Guests invited to enjoy Christmas décor, local authors, cookies and coffee during Nov. 15 celebration benefiting the Holmes County Historical Society
Celebrate the start of the holiday season with an evening at the Victorian House Museum, decorated in true Victorian Christmas style.
On Nov. 15 from 4-9 p.m., each room will have displays that capture the warmth and wonder of the season. After the tour guests can get cookies and coffee and attend a book-signing for the new Victorian House tour book featuring local authors Mary Tipton, Melissa Patrick and Carmen Camacho. The reception and book-signing will take place in the Castle Club Banquet Center next to the Victorian House.
Visitors can then explore the Sieverdes Millersburg Glass Museum to view the new Peoples Vase exhibit and the artistry of Millersburg Glass, hosted by curator Dr. Chris Sieverdes.
Admission is $5, with all proceeds supporting the programs and preservation efforts of the Holmes County Historical Society.
