Local scouts partner with Millersburg Tree City for park project
Volunteers enhance Deer Run Park with new mulch
The Millersburg Tree City Commission and members of Killbuck Boy Scout Troop 315 recently spent a day giving back to the community by placing newly purchased mulch at Deer Run Park as part of a park improvement effort.
The mulch was provided by Tree City, with members Chad Cline and Rodney Arnold assisting with the project. Several scouts participated in the work, including Deacon Clemens, Declan Clemens, Shane Beachy, Waylon Blagg and Bryar Strouse. Gracelyn Clemens also volunteered alongside the group.
Adult leaders and volunteers Owen Beachy, Keli Clemens and Joe Ramirez helped supervise and support the project.
Troop representatives expressed their appreciation to Tree City and community supporters, noting that the collaboration made the project a success.
