Ridgewood FFA supports community at breakfast
Students collect canned goods and volunteer at Lapp Farms event, winning Food Fight for third year
Ridgewood FFA members recently played an active role in supporting the community during the annual Coshocton County Farm Bureau Breakfast on the Farm held at Lapp Farms.
In the weeks leading up to the event, FFA members organized a countywide effort to collect canned goods from the elementary, middle and high schools. The donations were gathered and delivered to Lapp Farms, where they were contributed as part of the event’s charitable efforts.
In addition to their donation, Ridgewood FFA members volunteered their time to help make the event a success. Students assisted with setting up for the breakfast and helped organize a pedal pull activity for children attending the event. Their involvement provided both hands-on service experience and an opportunity to engage with the local community.
River View students also participated in the effort by collecting and donating canned goods, contributing to the overall success of the drive.
Through their combined efforts in collecting donations and volunteering at the event, Ridgewood FFA members demonstrated leadership, teamwork and a strong commitment to community service. They also won the Food Fight portion of the event for the third year in a row.
