The Medina High School choirs will present their winter concert, “Echoes of the American Journey,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3.
The concert will feature performances by each of the school’s five traditional choral ensembles and the competition show choir, Encore Entertainment Company. Encore will present the final local performance of its award-winning 2026 competition show, “Cowboys and Aliens.”

The program spans the history of the United States, from early works to modern selections. Dr. Frank Ward will join the choirs as a guest soloist for two spiritual arrangements. Other highlights include Hagenberg’s “I Will Be a Child of Peace,” Wilhousky’s “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” Leavitt’s arrangement of “River in Judea,” and Randall Thompson’s “Alleluia.”
The choirs are directed by Tyler Skidmore, with collaborative pianist Carissa Young.
The concert will be held on the main stage of the Medina Performing Arts Center, 851 Weymouth Road, Medina. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens and will be available at the door or online one week before the event. Veterans are invited to attend free of charge and will be recognized during a performance of “A Tribute to the Armed Services” by Lloyd Larson. For more information, visit medinachoir.com.
