Medina High School baseball is inviting the community to step up to the plate for a day of family-friendly fun at the Medina Baseball Bash, a fundraising event designed to bring a major league experience to Medina’s backyard.

The event will take place Sunday, April 26, from noon to 5 p.m. at The Common Ground, 220 N. State Road, Medina. Admission is $10 per person, with tickets available online in advance or at the gate.

The Baseball Bash is a festival-style event built around interactive baseball-themed activities, games, food and entertainment. While baseball fans will find plenty to enjoy, the event is designed for the entire community, including families with young children, and will offer opportunities to interact with Medina High School players.

Highlights include a virtual home run derby using MLB The Show, photo opportunities with the Cleveland Guardians’ Hot Dog mascots and a replica Progressive Field outfield wall. Additional activities will include inflatables, music, vendors, raffles, prizes, baseball games and hands-on experiences led by players.

Medina High School baseball will host the April 26 Baseball Bash, a family-friendly fundraiser featuring a virtual home run derby, player-led activities, inflatables, food vendors and appearances by Cleveland Guardians mascots.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. Pickleback’s, the on-site bar at The Common Ground, will serve burgers from Get Smashed and adult beverages. Additional vendors will include C&J Best Sips and The Frosty Gator food truck. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor space, allowing the event to continue rain or shine.

Proceeds from the event will support equipment and training tools for the Medina High School baseball program, helping provide resources for player development while strengthening ties with the community.

“I’m really excited to see our guys connect with the kids and families that attend the event,” head coach Mark Kelly said. “We aim to build outstanding young men in our program, and this fundraiser gives our guys a chance to develop off the field through community outreach. And as a baseball fan, this event is going to be a fun day.”

Tickets are available in advance at medinaboosters.org or may be purchased at the gate. Community members are encouraged to attend and support local student-athletes.
