Knox County Foundation opens scholarship applications for 2026-27 academic year
More than $1 million will be awarded through over 160 scholarship funds
The Knox County Foundation is now accepting applications for scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. These scholarships are available to high school seniors, current college students, and adults pursuing associate, bachelor, or certain doctoral degrees.
The Universal Scholarship Application can be accessed online at https://knoxcf.awardspring.com. The submission deadline is Sunday, March 1, at 11:59 p.m.
Applicants seeking scholarships based on financial need are encouraged to review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section under the “Grants and Scholarships” tab on the Foundation’s website for important eligibility information.
In addition to traditional academic scholarships, the foundation offers Career and Technical Education scholarships. These scholarships are available to both high school seniors and adults pursuing certification programs of two years or less through accredited institutions.
The CTE scholarship application is available in fillable PDF format directly on the Foundation’s website. To accommodate the varying start dates of participating institutions, the foundation has established four submission deadlines: Jan. 15, April 15, July 15, and Oct. 15.
For detailed information on eligibility requirements, application instructions, and a full list of available scholarships, visit www.knoxcf.org.
The Knox County Foundation is committed to investing in education and plans to award more than $1 million in scholarship assistance through over 160 scholarship funds in 2026. For further inquiries, contact Kara Ernsberger, program coordinator, at 740-392-3270 or kara@knoxcf.org.
