Wooster’s Tree City Quilters’ Guild will raffle off this quilt during the NE Ohio Quilt Show.

Wooster’s Tree City Quilters’ Guild will exhibit at the annual NE Ohio Quilt Show July 17-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wayne County Fair Event Center.

Admission and parking are free. The show will include over 45 vendors, over 35 classes, free lectures and lots of quilts. More information is available at www.theNEohioquiltshow.com.

The show also will include a boutique with items for sale, handmade by guild members, and a raffle for a quilt, with the winning ticket drawn shortly after the show ends.

The Tree City Quilters’ Guild has about 80 active members with skills ranging from beginner to advanced. Meetings are at Parkview Christian Church in Wooster on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m.

The guild conducts workshops throughout the year to further its mission of stimulating creativity and furthering education. Members are active in the community by donating handmade quilts to local service organizations including Christian Children’s Home of Ohio, Salvation Army, hospice facilities, OneEighty and animal shelters.

Many of the handmade quilts that will be donated to local veterans at this year’s Wayne County Fair will be displayed at the quilt show.
