Wooster/Orrville NAACP taking scholarship applications

The Wooster/Orrville NAACP is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program. The scholarship is available to Wayne County public high school seniors who are accepted or enrolling in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical education institution.

Applicants must be of African American descent, have financial need (based on FAFSA), and show leadership qualities in their participation in co-curricular, extracurricular, community or church activities. Awards vary, based on need and available funds. Awards can be used for tuition and fees required for enrollment.

The deadline for applications is March 15. The online scholarship application and instructions for applying can be found on the Wayne County Community Foundation website on the grants/scholarships page at www.waynecountycommunityfoundation.org/.
