Williams awards grant to local BBBS

Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio announced Williams Company Inc. has awarded it a grant of $2,500 to support its School Based Mentoring program.

This grant will be used to help local kids learn and grow with a mentor during the school year. Bigs and Littles in the school-based program work on social-emotional learning activities facilitated by a mentoring specialist and improve in areas such as self-confidence and better relationships with peers, teachers and family.

Williams Company Inc. is a Fortune 500 business that considers itself a leader in energy. It has local operations throughout the area in which BBBSECO serves. The company offers grants to community organizations in its operating areas to help improve the lives of area residents.
