Save & Serve raises over $4,300 for 58:12 Global
Volunteer cashiers from 58:12 Global joined Save & Serve for the April 12 Benefit Day to help raise funds and awareness for their ministry.

On April 12, Save & Serve Thrift Shop held its latest Benefit Day, raising $4,306.28 in support of 58:12 Global, an organization offering safe housing and Christ-centered counseling to women and children in need.

The funds will help 58:12 Global continue its mission to serve individuals facing homelessness, abuse and other difficult life situations, providing a place to heal, rebuild and rediscover hope.

“58:12 Global creates space for women and children to heal, recover and move forward with dignity,” said Eric Raber, general manager of Save & Serve. “It’s a privilege to support a ministry that meets such deep needs with both compassion and strength.”

Staff and volunteers from 58:12 Global joined in for the day, helping ring up purchases and connect with customers. Their presence helped raise awareness about the organization’s work and the lives it touches throughout Holmes County and the surrounding region.

Save & Serve’s Benefit Day program sets aside certain days each year when 100% of store sales are donated to local nonprofits that serve the community and help people in need.

Save & Serve is a nonprofit thrift store in Holmes County, supporting local and global relief, development, and peace projects of the Mennonite Central Committee.
