Pretzel Day returns to Zoar

Pretzel Day will return to Historic Zoar Village April 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Zoar Bakery. Pretzels will be available for purchase fresh from the oven at grab-and-go stations.

“Pretzel Day honors a centuries-old tradition dating back to the original Zoar Separatists,” Site Director Tammi Shrum said. “We’re excited to carry on this meaningful and tasty Good Friday tradition with our community every year.”

Plain, salted and dessert pretzels will be available. Pretzels from the bakery oven will be limited to two per person. Pretzel multipacks will be available at grab-and-go stations.

Proceeds from the pretzel sale benefit Historic Zoar Village educational programming and building restorations.
