ODOT seeks comments on SR 39 easement sale
The Ohio Department of Transportation is proposing the sale of an easement of just over an acre of property adjacent to state Route 39, west of Millersburg in Holmes County, and is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed action.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is proposing the sale of an easement of just over an acre of property adjacent to state Route 39, west of Millersburg in Holmes County. The existing easement was acquired in the 1930s and 1950s for the construction of state Route 39. The easement does not contain any cultural resources, hazardous materials, waters of the United States or suitable wooded habitat for protected bat species. Control/use of the property will revert to the underlying landowner.
ODOT is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed action. Environmental impacts include those associated with historical archaeological or architectural resources, ecological resources, hazardous materials, and/or any general concerns regarding the project.
