On June 6 nearly 100 women came together for a day of connection, learning and empowerment at the fourth annual Networking Empowers Women Mini Conference, hosted by the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce. Designed to foster both personal and professional growth, the event brought together women to learn, connect and build relationships.
The day opened with grounding and intention-setting, led by Ashleigh Best. The conference featured a lineup of keynote speakers including the following:
—Angie Giltner delivered a session on Tailoring Your Communication Style, offering strategies to adapt messaging based on one’s audience.
—Amy Mast introduced attendees to The 5 Voices, guiding participants to better understand their natural tendencies and how these influence team culture and collaboration.
—Sarah Baker discussed Climbing Your Own Ladder, encouraging women to define success for themselves and pursue it with confidence.
The day concluded with a panel discussion featuring Dawn Cazzolli, Tanya Franks and Diane Jarrett. They shared their personal journeys to leadership, insights on inspiring their teams, and advice on staying motivated and resilient.
“Keep lifting each other up,” said Landre McCloud, membership and marketing director with Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce. “Because when women support women, incredible things happen.”
The Networking Empowers Women Mini Conference continues to grow each year. The group’s next event is scheduled for Aug. 7. For more details visit www.orrvillechamber.com.
