A total of 277 different families came to the Love Center during June.

A total of 277 different families came to the Love Center during June. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 358 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 33,336 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 9,161 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 845.

Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Community Bible Church, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church in Winesburg.

Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included B & L Trucking, Berlin Natural Bakery, Chance 2 Transport, Charm Harness & Boot, Coblentz Chocolates, Denco Marketing, Der Dutchman, Donna’s Premier Lodging, Dutch Craft Furniture, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Feikert Sand & Gravel Inc., Gerber Chicken, Harvest Thrift Store, Hershberger Farm & Bakery, Hi-Hills Farms, Hillside Meats, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Millersburg Brewing LLC, Mt. Hope Country Health Store, Scenic Hills RV Park, The Killbuck Savings Bank, Weaver Produce and WKLM Radio Inc.
