The Mid-Ohio Growers Meeting, one of the region’s leading educational and networking events for produce growers, will return to the Mount Hope Event Center Jan. 8-9. Now entering its 14th year, the two-day event will offer more sessions, more vendors and more opportunities for growers to connect and learn.
Designed especially for small to mid-sized produce growers, the Mid-Ohio Growers Meeting provides a space for farmers, homesteaders and agribusiness professionals to exchange knowledge, explore new technologies and strengthen the local produce community.
This year’s event will feature an expanded schedule of more than 65 educational sessions spread across eight dedicated session rooms, each focused on a key area of interest to Ohio’s horticulture community.
The 2026 session lineup includes the following:
—Tree fruit: practical insights for orchard management, pruning and disease prevention.
—Vegetables and small fruit: strategies for improved yields, pest control and variety selection.
—Soil and plant nutrition: the latest information on soil health, biological inputs and nutrient management.
—Maple syrup production: tapping, processing and marketing maple products for small producers.
—Beekeeping: hive management, pollination support and honey production best practices.
—Cut flowers: growing, harvesting and marketing flowers for retail and farmers’ markets.
—Greenhouse flowers: production methods for year-round floral sales and sustainable greenhouse management.
—Market and business: sessions focused on profitability, marketing and navigating the modern produce economy.
With such a broad range of topics, attendees can customize their learning experience — whether they’re managing a few acres of specialty crops or overseeing a diversified produce business.
In addition to the educational sessions, the 2026 Mid-Ohio Growers Meeting will feature a trade show of over 100 vendors filling the Mount Hope Event Center. Exhibitors will showcase a variety of products and services including greenhouse equipment, seeds, tools, packaging, irrigation systems, fertilizers, pest control solutions and farm business resources. Attendees can expect to see the latest innovations in produce production and marketing firsthand, as well as connect with industry experts offering on-the-ground solutions for today’s growers.
The event continues to serve as a vital hub for the region’s agricultural community. Over the past 14 years, the Mid-Ohio Growers Meeting has grown from a small gathering of local farmers into a must-attend event for growers across the Midwest. Each year hundreds of attendees travel to Mount Hope to share ideas, network with fellow producers and gain insight.
Located in the heart of Ohio’s produce region, the Mount Hope Event Center offers an accessible setting for two days of hands-on learning and collaboration. Mrs. Yoder’s will provide a lunch buffet both days, and Thursday evening will feature Refreshments with the Vendors.
The event will culminate Friday at 2 p.m. with a drawing for a 20-by-48-foot greenhouse. All paid attendees will automatically be entered for the drawing.
The Mid-Ohio Growers Meeting requires no membership. Mt. Hope Event Center is located at 8076 OH-241, Mt. Hope.
