If you create anything from woodworking to earrings, robotics to juggling, you’re a maker, and the Maker Faire Wayne County wants you. Both participants and sponsors are sought at this time for the annual event scheduled to take place July 27, 2024, at the Wayne County Fairgrounds Event Center in Wooster.

The Maker Faire Wayne County showcases the creativity of all kinds from anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself or do-it-together spirit and wants to share their project, work or hobby. Makers of all ages are encouraged to apply.

The Faire is a venue for creatives to share hobbies, experiments, projects and performances. Makers run the gamut from engineers to artists, scientists to crafters. If you create something, you’re a maker.

Those selling their crafts and items as well as related commercial vendors are welcome. The event is family-friendly, like a giant show and tell. A maker faire is part science fair, part art opening, part performance space, part county fair, and it all comes together to create a unique showcase that truly has something for everyone. It’s a festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness.

Opportunities for sponsors are available along with the call for makers. There are several sponsorship levels available with a range of associated benefits that will offer a variety of ways to promote a business, cause, community organization, media outlet, trade association or non-profit. One thing sponsors can do is opt to have an interactive booth at the faire to share and educate the public about their business, products or services.

Sponsoring the Maker Faire Wayne County is a great way for local businesses, media outlets, trade associations, and non-profit groups to get involved in a community event that reaches a widely diverse group of participants from the local and regional areas and beyond.
