The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host an art supply drive throughout June and July as part of its annual Summer Reading Program.

“This year’s summer reading theme is ‘Color Our World,’” public relations associate Megan Kovalaske-Grimm said. “An art supply drive fits so well with the theme and provides an opportunity for families to make giving and kindness a part of their summer.”

The drive will collect new art supplies, specifically eight-packs of crayons, 12-packs of colored pencils and Prang paints. Donated items will be distributed to community members in need.

Donations can be dropped off at any of the library system’s five locations: the Tuscarawas County Main Library in New Philadelphia and the branches in Bolivar, Strasburg, Sugarcreek and Tuscarawas.
