Kent State Tuscarawas to host 24th annual Scholarship Golf Outing
Kent State Tuscarawas is inviting golfers to take a swing for scholarships at its 24th annual Scholarship Golf Outing.

Kent State Tuscarawas will host its 24th annual Scholarship Golf Outing Friday, May 16 at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia.
The four-player, 18-hole scramble will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Greens fees include lunch at the turn and a steak dinner. The registration deadline is May 9. Proceeds benefit Alumni Legacy Scholarships for students at Kent State Tuscarawas.
“It’s a fun way companies and individuals can get involved to help out our students,” said Brad Bielski, dean and chief executive officer of Kent State Tuscarawas. “We are always striving to provide more opportunities and access for local individuals to pursue college.”

Over the past 23 years, the event has raised more than $100,000. It funds four $1,000 Alumni Legacy Scholarships each year, helps sustain the Alumni Legacy Scholarship endowment and supports the growth of the Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association.
