Jarrett hosting Aug. 8 supply chain event, benefit

Jarrett, a nationwide provider of logistics, transportation, warehousing and fleet services, will host the second annual Jarrett Supply Chain Summit in Orrville on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Industry executives from national CPG and retail brands and international industrial companies will speak on topics including sustainability, cargo fraud and theft mitigation, artificial intelligence, and other relevant issues affecting the transportation industry today.
“We are excited to bring supply chain thought leaders together to share insights, experiences and best practices that drive the future of supply chain management,” Jarrett CEO Mike Jarrett said. “Everyone who attends will have a takeaway they can implement in their own business.”
In addition to supply chain executive presentations, Dan Jansen, Olympics gold medalist and world champion speed skater, will take the stage as this year’s keynote speaker. Jansen’s resilience in the face of adversity is applicable to both the Olympics and the supply chain industry.
Registration costs are covered by Jarrett, and space is limited. Visit www.gojarrett.com/supply-chain-summit for more information.
Following the summit, Jarrett will host Hearts for Heartland, a benefit for the local 501(c)(3) organization Heartland Education Community. The event will kick off at 4 p.m. and feature family fun, a private concert by country music artist Phil Vassar, and silent and live auctions with all proceeds directly benefiting local youth.
Special guest Archie Griffin, running back at Ohio State and the only two-time winner of college football's Heisman Trophy, will sign autographs, share his story and join a roundtable discussion. Sponsorship package information for the Hearts for Heartland benefit is available at www.gojarrett.com/hearts-for-heartland.
“In bringing these two events together, we are able to offer educational resources to both the supply chain industry and our local youth through programs like Character Counts and more,” Jarrett said. “Each of these events will aid in propelling future leaders forward.”
