Donation Station a success in first season at the market
Donation Station Tuscarawas County officially wrapped up its first market season on Oct. 12. With the help of the community, Rural Action was able to raise $2,030.06.

Donation Station Tuscarawas County officially wrapped up its first market season on Oct. 12. With the help of the community, Rural Action was able to raise $2,030.06. This resulted in 2,749.55 pounds of produce being distributed to five food pantries and hot-meal providers throughout Tuscarawas County.
If passionate about food access in Tuscarawas County, consider participating in a year of service. Rural Action Northern Programs is currently looking for a community member to serve as an AmeriCorps member for the Tuscarawas County Community Networks VISTA.
The Donation Station will be at the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market’s Holiday Market on Nov. 22 from 3-7 p.m. at the New Towne Mall, 400 Mill Ave. SE, Suite C8, New Philadelphia. This is another chance to interact and make a monetary or produce donation.
