Back by popular demand, the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host a drive-thru electronic waste and computer recycling event on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Main Library in the public parking lot off of North Broadway in New Philadelphia. The recycling event is in partnership with eCycle Solutions of Ohio.
“Old, broken and outdated electronic items take up a lot of space in our homes, and this is an environmentally safe way to dispose of them,” information technology manager Rick Wiltrout said. “This is a great opportunity to purge unwanted items from our homes.”

Wiltrout said eCycle cannot accept biohazardous equipment, glass tube screens, alkaline batteries, light bulbs or fluorescent tubes.
“Other than those restrictions, there is no limit on the number of items a person can recycle,” Wiltrout said.
