Dinner and Easter egg hunt planned for March 24

The Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department will have its annual Easter egg hunt and spaghetti dinner on Sunday, March 24 at the fire station located at 6288 Firehouse St. in Somerdale.

The Easter egg hunt will begin at noon for children age 3-12, weather permitting, with several different age categories. Children are asked to bring their own baskets to collect their eggs.

The spaghetti dinner also will begin at noon and run through 3 p.m. The dinner includes spaghetti with meat sauce, a salad bar featuring over 40 different items, rolls, a beverage and a variety of desserts. The cost for the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. It is dine-in or carryout. Attendees also can get the salad bar only for $7. All proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department.
