The United Way of Tuscarawas County, on behalf of the Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured, will host Casino Royale Feb. 22 from 6-10 p.m. at Kent State University Performing Arts Center. The event, celebrating 16 years of service to the community, includes silent and live auctions, casino games, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

There are many silent auction items and baskets to bid on and live auction items such as OSU football tickets, an escorted bus tour to local wineries or breweries and a private tour of classic cars owned by John Mason. Prizes will be awarded for gambling chips and a chance to win a tree full of lottery tickets.

Casino Royale is sponsored by Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, The Commercial & Savings Bank, Pinnacle Foot and Ankle, Hawk Dental, Dover Eagles, Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Dover Hydraulics, Stutzman’s Landscaping, Trinity Hospital Twin City, and Williams Furniture.

Other sponsors for the event include Bambeck Team of Howard Hanna, Groovfold, McInturf Realty, Neidenthal & Company, USA Label, Travel Warther and Wendy’s. All sponsors’ support is needed to continue the work of the clinic.

Tickets are $60 each and can be purchased online at www.tuscunitedway.org/events or at the clinic by calling 330-364-1853. All proceeds benefit the clinic, which serves Tuscarawas County residents who are employed without insurance. The clinic is located at 420 Reeves Ave. in Dover.
