The United Way of Tuscarawas County on behalf of the Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured will host Casino Royale on Feb. 22 at the Kent State University Performing Arts Center. The event, celebrating 11 years of service to the community, will be held from 6-10 p.m. with silent and live auctions, casino games, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

“It’s a fun evening with friends and sponsors coming together to benefit the clinic,” said Pat Warther, executive director for the clinic. “There are many silent auction items and baskets to bid on, as well as live auction items such as wood lockers and escorted wine tours through Ohio’s wineries.”

Prizes will be awarded for gambling winnings, as well as a chance to win a tree full of lottery tickets.

Casino Royale is sponsored by Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, The Commercial & Savings Bank, Wendy’s, Dr. Lindsey Moore, Myers and Miller Podiatry, Rich and Tina Graselli, Union Hospital, Dover Hydraulics, Pipes Insurance, Dr. Nathan Springer, Dr. David Winston, Jack and Sally Dooling, McInturf Realty, Jason Bambeck-Howard Hanna, Moore and Neidenthal, Dominion Energy, Warther Tours, and Zemis Legal Services.

Tickets are $80 for a couple or $40 for each individual. All proceeds will benefit the clinic, which serves Tuscarawas County residents who are employed without insurance. The clinic is located at 420 Reeves Ave., Suite D, Dover. All tickets can be reserved by calling 330-364-1853 by Feb. 20.

As uninsured rates have climbed in the past years nationwide, the clinic remains committed to assist the uninsured in Tuscarawas County.
