Wooster High School landed a pair of All-Ohioans as individuals and also had a relay team reach that status at the OHSAA Swimming and Diving Championships, held Feb. 20-22 at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.

Seniors Colleen Frantz and Michael Buchholz both finished their high school careers on the podium as All-Ohioans.

Frantz, competing in diving, placed sixth for the Generals. Buchholz secured his All-Ohio status with a 12th-place finish in the 50 freestyle, improving his seeding by three spots in the final after placing 15th in the qualifying heat.

Buchholz earned a second All-Ohio honor as part of the Generals’ 200 free relay quartet, which finished 14th. He was joined by Jack Shindollar, Santi Salazar and Aiden McMillan.

On the girls side, the 200 free relay of Lauren Hershberger, Miley Green, Piper Udell and Alessandra Gerber finished in 21st place, and Gerber closed her sophomore season by placing 27th in the girls 200 individual medley.
