291 families visited Love Center during July

A total of 291 different families came to the Love Center during July. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 401 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 23,650 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 13,162 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 821.

Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Clark Presbyterian Church, Gospel Haven, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, MCC Relief Sale, Millersburg Christian Church, Millersburg Methodist Community Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church Run-for-Food, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Evangelical Covenant Church, St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church in Winesburg.

Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Ace Hardware, Berlin Natural Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Der Dutchman, Dollar General in Killbuck, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Farmside Country Store, Green Leaf, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Majora Lane, Peach Barn, TH Manufacturing, The Killbuck Savings Bank, Weaver Produce, Wilson’s Country Creations Inc. and WKLM Radio Inc.
