Ridgewood earns perfect score on state nutrition review
District achieved full compliance with no corrective actions required during January evaluation
Ridgewood Local School District announced it received full compliance with no corrective actions required following its recent administrative review conducted by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Office of Nutrition.
The review took place Jan. 20–21 and included on-site evaluations at Ridgewood Elementary School and Ridgewood Middle School. The district was found to be 100% compliant with all reviewed areas including performance standards one and two and all general program requirements under federal child nutrition program guidelines.
“This outcome speaks volumes about the leadership and high expectations Michelle Stoffer brings to our food service program,” Superintendent Mike Masloski said. “Michelle runs an exceptional operation built on professionalism, accountability and genuine care for our students. She leads a tremendous team, and this perfect review is the direct result of her commitment to doing what is best for kids every single day.”
Ridgewood Local Schools extends its appreciation to Stoffer and the entire kitchen staff for their outstanding work. Their daily efforts ensure students receive meals that are nutritious, safe, and fully compliant with all federal and state requirements.
Ridgewood Local Schools participates in the Community Eligibility Provision, allowing the district to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students, every school day. This program removes barriers for families and ensures every student has access to healthy meals that support learning, focus and overall well-being.
“Our commitment to students extends beyond the classroom,” Masloski said. “Access to high-quality meals is essential to student success, and our food service team consistently delivers at the highest level.”
