Coshocton students win state math challenge

Fifth graders from Coshocton Elementary advance to national competition in May

In November, 110 fifth grade students from Coshocton Elementary School competed in the Prodigy State Challenge. Math students from Kimberlee Mulczycki, Michael McKee and Brent Wyler’s classes answered the most questions correctly from the state of Ohio. There were a variety of questions, covering different math skills. Because they won that monthly challenge, they now qualify to compete in the National Prodigy Challenge in May.
