Coshocton student joins Alpha Chi honor society
Anna Jansen among 25 MVNU students inducted for academic excellence in 2025-26
Anna Jansen, a psychology major from Coshocton, was one of 25 Mount Vernon Nazarene University students inducted into the Ohio Delta chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for the 2025-26 academic year. Alpha Chi is an academic honor society that recognizes the top 10% of juniors and seniors across all disciplines.
Membership to Alpha Chi is by invitation only and is restricted to traditional undergraduate students who are of junior and/or senior standing or nontraditional undergraduate students in MVNU’s graduate and professional studies programs.
To be eligible for induction, students must have completed at least one year as a full-time student at MVNU, completed at least half of the credits required for graduation and have a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher.
Alpha Chi is recognized as one of the leading honor societies in the nation and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, which ensures the highest standards for student membership and governance. It is one of two ACHS societies dedicated to recognizing the academic achievements of junior and senior students, the other being Phi Kappa Phi.
