Concerns raised over potential data centers in Harrison County
Coshocton Farmers Market is now open
Local vendors offer baked goods, flowers and crafts at Roscoe Village Visitor Center
The opening day of the Coshocton Farmers Market was Saturday, May 2 in the temporary location in the Roscoe Village Visitor Center parking lot.
Many vendors are planting their gardens, researching recipes to bake, getting their products ready for sale. Fresh-cut flowers, hanging baskets, bedding plants and lots of perennials will be available all summer.
Baker vendors will have all kinds of baked goods including sweet breads, sourdough and yeast breads, cookies, brownies, hand pies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cake pops, bundt cakes, apple butter, goat milk fudge, jams and jellies, maple syrup, local honey, and kettle corn.
Fresh hot and iced coffee and lattes with doughnuts will be available.
Crafters will have a variety of handmade items such as crocheted kitchen items, beanies, headbands and polymer clay jewelry.
Follow the market on Facebook for the latest information.
The Coshocton Farmers Market is open rain or shine. There is space for more vendors, particularly produce vendors. Email Michaela Savage, market manager, at market.manager@coshfarmmarket.org or call 740-502-5578 for information.
