Carter Hammersley named Elks Teen of March
Coshocton student excels in sports and community service, plans to study accounting
Carter Hammersley is the River View Elks Teen of the Month for March. He is the son of Nick and Melissa Hammersley of Coshocton. He has been involved in the following school activities: soccer, bowling, track, National Honor Society and Letterman's Club.
Hammersley completed two senior projects, one of which involved organizing a bowling tournament in memory of a high school bowler who had a passion for the sport, with all proceeds donated to the bowling team for equipment. His other project involved organizing a Valentine’s dance for individuals with special needs. His community activities include Mobile Market and coaching assistance for youth bowlers.
Upon graduation Hammersley is undecided about where he will attend college but plans to pursue a major in accounting. He also plans to run track in college.
