Wayne Center Presents announces 2025–26 concert season

Five-performance lineup begins Nov. 19 with harpist Bridget Kibbey and violinist Chad Hoopes, followed by acclaimed classical and jazz artists through March 2026 at Wayne Center for the Arts.

Wayne Center for the Arts and ESQYRE have announced the 2025–2026 Wayne Center Presents Concert Series, beginning in November 2025, featuring five world-class performances by acclaimed artists.

Wayne Center for the Arts and ESQYRE announced the 2025-26 season of the Wayne Center Presents Concert Series, beginning in November. The series will once again bring world-class artists to Wooster, offering audiences an opportunity to experience live music close to home.

“We’re thrilled to begin the season earlier this year,” said Sara Brink, executive director of Wayne Center for the Arts. “This change allows more people to attend and enjoy every performance, and we’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new artists to our stage. Our intimate concert setting offers an experience that’s both personal and unforgettable.”

The five-concert series blends returning audience favorites with acclaimed new performers, each bringing their own artistry and flair to the stage.

—Nov. 19: Known for their expressive brilliance and adventurous spirit, harpist Bridget Kibbey and violinist Chad Hoopes will open the season with a dazzling evening of chamber music that blurs boundaries and elevates the senses.

—Dec. 6: Pianist, bandleader and educator Theron Brown leads a soulful evening of jazz and song, joined by fellow local musicians for a night of creativity and rhythm. The group plans to play some holiday favorites as well.

Jan. 17, 2026: Featuring violinist Jinjoo Cho, cellist Brannon Cho and pianist Kyu Yeon Kim, Trio Seoul brings together three internationally celebrated musicians who combine classical mastery with bold, collaborative artistry that transcends genres.

—Feb. 21, 2026: Praised for their musical insight and rare tonal beauty, the Escher Quartet—regulars with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center—bring their acclaimed chamber music performance to Wooster as part of their international touring season.

March 14, 2026: Closing the series, pianist Halida Dinova performs a solo recital of Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Scriabin, showcasing her poetic interpretations and technical brilliance that have captivated audiences worldwide.

“Wayne Center Presents offers an unparalleled opportunity for audiences to experience world-class musicians in a setting that fosters connection and inspiration,” said Jarrod Hartzler, vice president and managing director for ESQYRE. “We are proud to collaborate with the Center to bring these incredible artists to Wooster and to provide students and the community with access to music that is both enriching and transformative.”

Subscriptions and single tickets are now available. Individual tickets are $30 per concert, or patrons can save with a full-season subscription for $125. Students may attend all concerts free of charge by emailing tiffany@wayneartscenter.org.

Those wishing to further support the series can become a concert presenter ($500) or series presenter ($1,000), helping Wayne Center for the Arts continue to bring world-class performances to the community.
