Kudos marks 15 years with celebration
Knox County art co-op hosts anniversary event March 20 with music, raffle, and more
Kudos, an Artist Co-op, consists of 24 Knox County and vicinity artists representing a very wide variety of mediums.
Marsha Ernst founded Kudos 15 years ago, recruiting two fiber artist friends, Deborah Yorde and Linda Shaffer, to assist in the process. The three of them served as the management team. Very unfortunately, Yorde and Shaffer have since passed and are profoundly missed by Kudos members.
Kudos extends a warm invitation to all our wonderful customers and new ones as well to join the business on Friday, March 20, 5-8 p.m., to celebrate the 15 year anniversary with the event, "15 Years in Bloom."
Ernst is not an artist. She is an art lover. Her son, Drew Ernst, an artist located in Hudson, NY, paints modern realism and abstract art. Her husband, Bill Ernst, is a photographer and member of Kudos.
Kudos has no paid employees. Its members do all tasks necessary to manage Kudos. Kudos features glass, jewelry, photography, painting, ceramics, soap, bath and body products, cement, wood, metal, fiber, and candles. As such, Kudos is an excellent venue for all occasion, unique, one of a kind, handmade gifts.
Come ready to enjoy our amazing art, cake, wine, music by Andrew Clarkson, and community. A raffle of Kudos Art will be won by three lucky customers (must be present to win.) Tickets will be available to customers on March 20 from 5-7:25 p.m. with drawing at 7:30 p.m. No purchase necessary but those who make a purchase will receive two additional raffle tickets.
