YMCA fundraiser seeks sponsors, items

The 12th annual YMCA of Wayne County February fundraiser — It's a Luau — is scheduled for Feb. 2 from 6-10 p.m. at the Excelsior Room of Spoon, located in downtown Wooster.

The fundraiser is to raise money for the YMCA of Wayne County's financial aid scholarships, as the Y provides scholarships for at-risk youth and low-income families in the Wayne County area to receive childcare, membership to the Y, and for programs like swimming lessons, sports and more.

The event will include dinner, drinks, auction items, YMCA awards and more. The cost is $50 for one ticket or $90 for two tickets.
