Wooster transportation meetings to be held May 15

The City of Wooster and Community Action Wayne/Medina have introduced SHARE Mobility as the new provider of the City of Wooster’s fixed route loop service beginning Saturday, May 20. The service will operate Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will not operate on Sunday.

Community meetings will be held Monday, May 15 at the following locations and times:

—The College of Wooster’s Lowry Center from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Alley, located on the lower level. Park behind Lowry Center, enter the lower back door by the bookstore and walk down the hallway to the meeting room.

—Wayne County Public Library’s Wooster branch in the community room from 6-7:30 p.m.

All City of Wooster Pass holders with a valid and current ID will be permitted to ride the service at no charge. The City of Wooster also provides curb-to-curb services at a reduced cost to eligible citizens living inside the city of Wooster. To participate, an application and a valid Wooster address is required. Information also is available at Community Action Wayne/Medina, 905 Pittsburgh Ave., Wooster.
