The Aspen Racquet Club hosted the second annual Wooster Open Aug. 3-4, which brought together tennis enthusiasts from across the region to support youth tennis programs.

With 64 players competing, this year’s tournament not only showcased talent on the court, but also raised $8,300 to help young tennis players pursue their dreams.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and the support we’ve received from our community and sponsors,” said Heather Alexander, director of the Aspen Racquet Club. “The Wooster Open is more than just a tournament — it’s a celebration of tennis and a commitment to fostering young talent. We are grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success.”

In addition to the financial support from sponsors, the Wooster Open was made possible by the dedication of volunteers, local businesses and the participation of the players. Plans are already underway to make next year’s tournament even bigger.
