West Holmes girls bowler Young sets school record in win over TCC
Aubree Young sets school record with 256 game in Feb. 5 victory.
The West Holmes girls bowling team picked up a 1,796-1,452 win over Tuscarawas Central Catholic in nonleague action Feb. 5.
Aubree Young led the Lady Knights with a 409 series, rolling a school-record 256 game and a 153. Madison Brenneman added a 312 (157-155) and Lily Galehouse a 305 (158-147).
Triway defeated West Holmes 1,880-1,765 in a nonconference clash Feb. 3.
Young (178-204-382), Galehouse (139-169-308) and Brenneman (161-134-295) paced WH.
Boys bowling
West Holmes finished 16th out of 24 teams at the Division II St. Clair Lanes Sectional Feb. 10.
Cole Rusk (158-187-143-489) and Cameron Young (146-154-152-452) paced WH.

Briar Cline (13 points, 11 rebounds), Cara McMillen (eight points, six rebounds, four steals), Zalina Proper (eight points) and Mati Fair (five rebounds) paced WH.
Hiland picked up a 53-22 win over Holmes County rival West Holmes in nonleague action Feb. 4.
Proper (six points, four rebounds), McMillen (six points, four rebounds) and Fair (four steals) led the Knights.

Nate Sprang (22 points), Keston McKinney (nine) and Preston Troyer (eight) led the Knights.
