WCSWCD fish and tree sale underway

The Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual fish and tree sale is officially underway, and orders are now being accepted.

The fish order deadline is March 29, and pickup will be April 9 from 9-10 a.m. at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.

Customers will need containers such as 5-gallon buckets to hold the purchased fish when picked up. Each container must have an unscented poly liner to hold oxygen during transport and be filled one-third of the way with customer pond water.

The tree order deadline is March 13, and pickup will be April 17 from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
