Veteran Resource Fair Aug. 22 in Wooster

A Veteran Resource Fair will be held Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffel Road, Wooster.

The fair will bring together social service providers from Wayne and surrounding counties and agencies such as the VA and Western Reserve, Vantage, Whispering Grace Horses, Freedom Caregivers, and many other partners dedicated to supporting veterans.

The Veteran Resource Fair presents an opportunity for veterans to connect with a range of service providers in one location. Attendees can explore booths offering guidance and assistance on various topics including financial planning, VA guarantee information for home purchasing, service-connected status inquiries, long-term care options and planning, family financial planning, volunteer opportunities, and choosing a Medicare plan.

The goal is to provide comprehensive support and resources to help veterans navigate their needs and enhance quality of life for them and their families.

All veterans are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to gather information and make connections. The entire Wayne County Veterans Service Commission team will be onsite.
